Do I need SolidWorks to run SolidMap?
Yes. SolidMap 2010 is an add-in product to SolidWorks 2009 and 2010. SolidMap is NOT a standalone application. You must have SolidWorks 2009 or 2010 installed to run SolidMap 2010.
What are the system requirements for SolidMap 2010?
If you can run SolidWorks 2009 or 2010, you can run SolidMap, which runs under Windows XP SP3 (32-bit and 64-bit) and Windows Vista SP 1 (32-bit and 64-bit).
You'll also need Microsoft’s .NET Framework v3.5 or higher, and will be prompted on this during software installation.
What if I'm running SolidMap 2009??
If you are running SolidMap 2009, you should uninstall that software before installing SolidMap 2010.
Does SolidMap 2010 work with SolidWorks 2009?
Yes.
How quickly can I get SolidMap?
SolidMap is available via electronic software delivery for immediate download. You can try the software for 14 days, or purchase a full license right away.
What happens at the end of my 14 day trial?
SolidMap will stop working at the end of your trial. You can order SolidMap online and receive instructions to license the software.
You will not have to download and install new software and can continue using SolidMap 2010.

How is SolidMap licensed?
SolidMap is licensed on a single-user, per seat basis. Floating or multi-user licenses are not available.
How does the licensing work?
You can start using the trial version of SolidMap right away without receiving a License Key.
When you purchase SolidMap, you will run a simple process to generate a Registration Key. You then email the Regstration Key to us, then receive a License Key which allows you to run the software.
Can I get special pricing for multiple copies?
Yes, volume discounts for 5 or more copies are available upon request.
In what languages is SolidMap available?
SolidMap 2010 is currently only available in English. SolidMap 2010 has only been tested with, and is supported on, the English version of SolidWorks 2010.
